Zodia is registered with the Central Bank of Ireland with Firm Reference Number C453603 under the Criminal Justice Act 2010 to 2021 (as amended) in respect of its activities in cryptoassets.Virtual Asset service providers “VASP”s are “designated persons” for the purposes of the Criminal Justice Act 2010 to 2021 (as amended) and are required to comply with the Anti-Money Laundering and Countering the Financing of Terrorism (AML/CFT) obligations. The Central Bank of Ireland’s Deposit Guarantee Scheme and the Investor Compensation Scheme and the Financial Services and Pensions Ombudsman (FSPO) services do not apply to the cryptoasset activities carried out by Zodia Custody.
